Karnataka's third Vande Bharat Express, linking Hyderabad and Bengaluru, launches on September 24, with commercial operations commencing a day later. The journey between Yeswantpur station in Bengaluru and Kacheguda station in Hyderabad is anticipated to take around eight and a half hours. Operated by the South Central Railway wing of Indian Railways, it will stop at Mahabubnagar, Kurnool, Anantapur, and Dharmavaram, without a stop in Raichur. The train will arrive at Yeswantpur at 2 pm and depart from Kacheguda at 2.45 pm. Compared to the current fastest Duranto Express, which takes nine to ten hours, the new Vande Bharat Express will travel at an average speed of 71 km/h. Pricing details are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to provide a faster and more comfortable travel option for IT professionals, businesspeople, and students commuting between Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
